Providence Secondary School (PSS) is a University Preparatory School, offering a programme that prepares its students for their tertiary education. Our motto is “Teach me Goodness, Discipline and Knowledge”; this summarizes our philosophy – being a good person and a disciplined individual is as important as the knowledge acquired in education. PSS delivers a Liberal Arts programme which exposes students to a wide range of knowledge. The programme encompasses the broad categories of learning Humanities, Arts, and Sciences.
PSS will continue the tradition started at Providence Elementary School, to have as many students involved in the co-curricular programme. Participating in these co-curricular activities enables students to learn loyalty and responsibility and nurtures the understanding necessary to interact with peers. Within this tradition of a liberal education, students develop spiritually, physically, socially and intellectually. We aim to educate the whole person so that he/she may play a vital role in their community.
