Represented by Lori J. Muir, Giuseppina Pasquale and Liza A. Harridyal Sodha, trustees safeguard the long-term mission, assets and integrity of the institution by providing oversight of governance, financial stewardship and compliance with the laws of Barbados. While the Board of Management oversees the day-to-day affairs of the school, the Trustees ensure that the organization remains aligned with its founding purpose and charitable obligations.

"Camila de Wit serves as Chair of the Board of Management at Providence School, where she works closely with the Board of Trustees, school leadership, and the wider community to support the school’s strategic development and long-term vision. Camila also serves as Chair of the Marketing Committee, where she leads efforts to strengthen Providence School’s brand, communications, and community engagement. In this role, she oversees the development of the school’s marketing and communications strategy, ensuring alignment with Providence’s mission and long-term enrollment objectives. Camila has extensive experience advising organizations and educational institutions around the world on strategy, growth, and talent development. She holds an MBA from Boston College and has worked internationally across North America, Europe, and the Caribbean. At Providence, Camila is committed to strengthening the school’s mission of educating the whole child—fostering academic excellence, character, and community engagement while helping position Providence as a leading school in Barbados."

"Erin O’Neil serves as Treasurer and chairs the Finance Committee, where she provides oversight into financial planning, budgeting, and long-term sustainability. In this role, she works closely with school leadership and the Board to ensure strong financial stewardship that supports Providence’s strategic priorities and continued growth. Erin is a CPA with over 30 years of extensive experience in financial management, business operations, and compliance. She brings valuable insight into responsible resource management and organizational effectiveness. Her experience will help ensure that Providence continues to provide a high-quality educational environment while maintaining sound financial governance for the benefit of the school community."

"Jill Tomlin serves as Chair of the Curriculum Innovation Committee, working with school leadership and faculty to support the ongoing development of Providence School’s academic programs. In this role, she helps guide initiatives to strengthen teaching and learning and ensure the curriculum remains relevant and aligned with the school’s goals. Jill brings experience in education, leadership, and communications. She previously served as Principal Designate at Providence Secondary School, where she supported organizational development, staff professional learning, and leadership transition. Her background also includes teaching, publishing, and marketing, giving her a broad perspective on curriculum and school development. She is a collaborative leader and effective communicator, focused on supporting strong learning experiences and student achievement."

"David Hamel-Smith is an attorney-at-law who specialises in litigation and risk management. David is called to the bar in Canada, Barbados, Trinidad & Tobago, St. Kitts and Nevis, and St. Vincent and the Grenadines. Over his career, David has assisted his clients with navigating some of the region's most complex commercial, public law, and bankruptcy matters, from multi-million dollar shareholder disputes and contentious insolvency proceedings to judicial reviews arising from national elections. His work consistently sits at the intersection of legal strategy, governance, and institutional risk. David brings to Providence a sharp legal perspective on risk management, helping the Board navigate challenging matters with clarity and rigour."

"Allyson Sargeant serves as Secretary to the Board of Management, and Chair of the Governance and Policy Committee. In this role, she supports the effective functioning of the Board. As Governance and Policy Committee Chair, Allyson leads the development and review of the school’s governance framework, including bylaws, and Board policies. She oversees governance compliance with Barbados charity regulations, supports Board evaluation and development, and helps guide succession planning for Board members. Her work also includes reviewing policies related to risk mitigation, liability, and insurance, and coordinating with external legal counsel when required."

The Principals lead the academic, pastoral and operational life of the school. They are responsible for curriculum delivery, student wellbeing, staff leadership and maintaining a safe, supportive learning environment aligned with Providence’s values.
The PTA plays an active role in strengthening the school community by fostering collaboration between parents, teachers and leadership. Through events, initiatives and advocacy, the PTA supports student enrichment and community engagement.
