Riley Forth’s journey began at Providence, where a curiosity about the natural world first took root—paired with a mindset of exploration and hands-on learning.
That curiosity led Riley to Willamette University, graduating summa cum laude in Environmental Science and Archaeology. Through research spanning Greece, Morocco, and the Pacific Northwest, Riley combined fieldwork, technology, and global collaboration—using tools like GIS and remote sensing to better understand environmental systems.
Today, as a Master’s student at University of Toronto, Riley conducts Arctic field research in Nunavut, studying lake ice and climate patterns while also teaching and supporting undergraduate students.
For Riley, the path from Providence to the Arctic reflects a consistent drive to ask questions, explore new environments, and apply learning in the real world—values first shaped in the classroom and far beyond it.
Anna Melnyk’s journey began at Providence, where she developed the curiosity and confidence that would shape her path forward.
She carried that mindset to University of California, Los Angeles, gaining hands-on experience through UCLA Student Media while studying communication and computing. Early roles at Level5 Strategy Group and Love Good Protein, a startup, sparked her interest in brand and growth strategy.
At Darktrace, she worked at the intersection of marketing and AI, translating complex technology into compelling stories. Today, as an Integrated Marketing Project Manager at Clean Beauty Collective Inc., she leads cross-channel campaigns with both creativity and precision.
For Anna, it all traces back to Providence—where she first learned to think independently and take on new challenges with confidence.
Alex Costa’s journey began at Providence, where a global perspective and curiosity about the world first took shape.
With roots in Spain, an upbringing in Barbados, and experiences across Costa Rica and beyond, Alex carried that international mindset to ESADE Business School, where he pursued Business Administration. During his studies, he expanded his global exposure further through an exchange at London School of Economics and Political Science, deepening his understanding of business in an international context.
Along the way, Alex built hands-on experience across consulting, sustainability, and technology—from projects with oikos Barcelona and NOIMA Sustainability Strategies to analytical roles at Mirakl and Glovo, where he helped drive growth initiatives across global markets.
Today, as part of the GenMews Graduate Program at Mews in Barcelona, Alex is building a career focused on growth, innovation, and impact—bringing together data, strategy, and a passion for continuous learning.
For Alex, it all traces back to Providence—where he first learned to think globally, embrace new challenges, and turn ideas into action.
