Welcome to Providence Secondary School
On behalf of the staff at Providence Secondary School, it is my pleasure to welcome students and parents to our inclusive and challenging learning environment. We are proud to offer a private secondary school experience to local students as well as students from abroad, on what is a most picturesque and nurturing campus in Barbados.
Providence S.S. aims to create students of character who are academically prepared to succeed in any post-secondary institution of their choice and beyond. Our students are engaged in a liberal arts programme that deliberately gives them exposure to the arts, sports and sciences, providing the foundation for more specific studies in a vast array of disciplines. Alongside this curriculum, is a full complement of extra-curricular activities such as football, tennis, theatre arts and chess, to name a few.
Providence S.S. prides itself on the balance of pressure and support that leads students to repeated outstanding achievement in all areas of their development.
